New York City, New York. The place was amazingly large, she could only stand in awe of the city, early she had been walking, her eyes with awe of the city. She knew it was big, that there would be a lot of people but she grew up on a small island with a semi-large city but nothing of these proportions. A smile finally pulled at her lips, her eyes glancing to and fro. It was the hustling and bustling city life, even though it was only in the afternoon. Life was more slow, relaxed on Oahu, nothing compared to this.
She looked down at her DSLR, playing with it a little to get the lighting, the shadows, the darkness just right. It wasn't going in her portfolio but it was always nice to remember an amazing place.

Ethen walked into the hustling city streets and was swept away by the beauty. The sights - and even the noises- were beautiful. It had it's own uniqueness about it a small city couldn't have. It had a special rhythm the whole city followed.
Ethen joined the rhythm now. It was his first trip to New York and he was blown away by the sheer size of the place. Wow, there's a lot I could do here. he thought. He moved the guitar on his shoulder back into place and carried on. In his attempt to absorb all of the city sites at once, Ethen did not notice until it was too late that he had smashed into a girl standing on the sidewalk with an odd camera. "Oh gosh, I'm so sorry! Here, you nedd any help, is your camera all right?" he asked the poor girl he had just startled. It wasn't exactly the greatest start to a new city when you run over unsuspecting girls.

Not paying any attention and lost on getting a decent snapshot, she lifted her camera to her face only to have her camera smash into her face at the same time she was hit by another person. She gasped in pain, dropping her camera that didn't fall in an unsatisfying crash as it bounced against her stomach. She clutched her nose with both hands, which had started bleeding after the impact with her face and camera as she turned slowly to the man who was speaking. She grimaced in pain but nodded. "You.. have a tissue?" She asked quickly. This was embarrassing, "run over" by a cute guy in a new city, having her camera smash up against her face, and now this nosebleed.

Tissue, tissue, tissue... Ethen frantically searched his pockets for something the girl could use to clean her bloody nose. Finally he found a packet of miniture tissues in his bag and said, "Here, you can just take them all." As he handed the tissues to her. Ethen didn't exactly enjoy harming innocent bystanders who were only trying to take pictures of the beautiful city. He felt guilty about what he had done to her and felt responsible. "Hey, do you need to sit down or something?" he asked gesturing to a bench across the street. Ethen didn't want to leave until he knew she was okay.
