Serenity sighed. "Alright Bird-girl." She then turned into her large black panther form, curled up on the bed, and fell asleep.

The gang was back together! Well, kinda... Everyone was off somewhere doing... Pretty much whatever. Falen had taken everyone to safety to some cabin in the middle of a forest.
As far as Noah knew, everyone had come out of the fight alive. No thanks to him.
Falen had trapped herself inside the cabin. Noah hadn't wanted to see her though. It was too depressing. She had bruises up and down her arms, a few burns, scratchs..... She looked like a wreck! And it was because of him. So instead Noah was hanging around in the trees for the past two days. Thinking about all that had happened. I go to school for a few hours and what happens? Some weird panther girl and dog girl get in a fight, I go evil and set the forest on fire, some lunatic dude tries to steal the first person I meet, and we all almost die. Nice. No matter how hard he thought about things or blamed himself though, nothing seemed to come together.What upset him the most was that guy, saying he knew him, that he had a brother. Noah knew it was just a stupid mistake but it still disturbed him nonetheless.
The thoughts semmed to be slowly and silently crushing him. I have to get out. Do something.... he told himself. So on stiff legs, Noah got up. He decided he needed to see Falen. Know that she was okay, apologize, or at least explain himself. In no time he was making his through the forest from the treetops, years of practice helping not fall to the ground. When he finally reached it, he stopped. His heart was pounding with fearand he was now unsure what to do. Come on Noah, you have to do it. You have to. And he forced himself to the ground and walked to the door of the cabin. He was trying to think whether to just go in or knock when he heard another voice. It sounded like that panther. What should he do now? So he nervously stood there, hoping noone would notice him.

Serenity raised her head and gave Noah a level gaze, but made no move to get up.

Falen said "Thanks.". She watched as Serenity slept. She sighed, and let otu a cry as she touched on of her burns. She was worse for ware but didn't say a thing to anyone. Not a word. she didn't want to be burden. Burn's from the fire appeared throughout her body, bruises covered her from head to toe, though when you saw her most of the time there was a smile on her face. She almost seemed to happy. But at the moment she held the photo. She thought about her parents. This cabin. Seh got up and walked toward the desk. It had been her fathers. She never looked in there. She slowly opened it up. Inside among the papers there was a piece of notebook paper. The words looked scrawled. She pulled it out slowly. She looked at it and read it. It said,
Leave, Get away why you can. Your child is evil, she will kill you, or better yet we will kill you, leave or be killed. We haven't the conscience to not kill you.
Falen began to cry. Her parents left her because of this note. Seh ripped it up, her face read with anger.Then she began sobbign, holding the ripped pieces of the note. Her parents left her to save there lives. They didn't care about her anymore. Just to save there own skins. She fell to the floor on her knee's balling. Seh thought of the past. Her horrid past. then she had a flashback, her body jolted as she got it as she stopped sobbign to see it. her breathign stopped as she saw the past. Her horrid past.
It was a normal night. Her mother was cooking dinner, making spagetti .She looked ta the door as her father walked in. he smiled and gave his wife a hug then Falen.They sat down at the table. Then there was a loud noise outside and a piece of paper was thrown under the door. It slid across the floor. Falen's father looked oddly at it and grabed it. He read it his eyes growing wide. He said her mothers name and left the table. Her mother followed him. Falen heard there words they were odd. She heard her father say in a muffled voice "We need to leave.". Then her mother said "We can't leave her!". Then her father replied "We have to think about it we can have another child!". Falen's mother said "We can't just abonden her, leave her all alone.". Falen's father replied "We can, and we will. I love her too but hun we need to save ourselves.". Then there was the sound of her mother crying andher father tried to comfort her. after falen went to bed, there was sounds of her parents layign things in bags. When she woke up the next morning her mother gave her cereal and said they would be back later. This was the first time her mother had left her alone. She looked to her mother. Her mothers voice seemed sad and distraught but she said "Mommy loves you.". as she left out the door. Falen ran to the window and watched them pull otu as rain poured down, this was the last time she saw her parents.
Falen opened her eyes wide after seeing this taking a big breath. Seh looekd up and saw Noah, tears still pouring out of her eyes, she said "Noah!".She was so happy to see her friend. She was so happy to see her friends. She looked at Serenity. She cried helplessly. Her parents had abondened her. they had! That made it even worse in her mind.

Serenity gave her a sympathetic growl and got up from the bed. She gently rubbed her large head against Falen's leg, purring.

He had been found out. But it didn't matter because Falen was crying. Was it his fault? Noah didn't care. he rushed through the door forgetting about all of his recent problems, only caring about what was upsetting Falen. Without thinking about what he was doing, Noah came in and bave the sobbing girl a comforting hug. It seemed right. He didn't say anything, and really, he didn't need to. So he stood there for a moment just hugging her. Then he pulled away and took a step back so they could see each other properly. "You okay?" The sound of his own voice shocked him a bit. He hadn't spoken out loud for quit some time and it was a little scratchy and unused sounding.
Noah tried not to stare too much at her, Falen still looked awful. Then he noticed a picture ripped shreds of paper on the floor. Again he looked at her face and realized something totally new was angering her. Noah felt slightly relieved it was nothing he had done but then guiltly realized he was still the one who had brought all this other pain and again went back in depression.

Falen sat there crying. Unable to stop. She was so afraid. So sad. She looekd at the paper and the ripped pieces o the photo. She had torn them, destroyed them. No thats all she had left to them. She hatered herself. She was the reason ehr parents left .It was her fault! They loved her, then another part of her said, they cared more about themselves than her He felt Noahs arms embrace her, though her tears still came from her eyes. .
She needed that hug. She heard Noah's words and said "I...I.. I...". She could barely get the words from her mouth between her sobs. She looked at the ground and said "No, I am not all... right.". She said her words biterly. She was to blame for her parents leaving her. She said "My... Parents...". She said between parents. "Thiss....was... our.. home.". She finally blurted the words out she needed to.. "They...left.. because of me... They hated me...They saved themselves...". She coudln't bellieve the words comign otu of her mouth. She quickly tried to put the picture back to gether, as f to fix her torn apart life. But it couldn't be fixed with just a piece of tape. Seh droped the shreds and looked at Noah. She must look liek a mess, she thought. But she didn't care. She looked to Noah, and stood up shakily on her legs. She walked over to him then hugged him. She needed to. As soon as she touched him she sent him the memory she had seen. He would see her memory, of her parents leaving. She let go and rubbed her eyes.

Serenity shifted back into her human form and gave the distressed girl a hug. "I'm so sorry, mi corazón, I really am. I wish I could heal the hurt you feel." She said softly. It was more noticable now, the Spanish accent.

It sad to hear Falen's words. He had no clue what to say. Panther girl shifted back and came in, making a group hug. It was weird how she did that. Who was she anyways? How was it possible that a girl could just magically shift into a a beautiful black panther? Black magic? Noah wasn't much of a believer in that kind of stuff but what else? Maybe the orphanage had drugged him up on something he wasn't aware of...
