Falen sat in the cabin. that had been her home when she was little. So many memories. she let otu a painful sigh as she thought about her parents. she had brought her friends here after she found out she was a shifter. She looked out the window and watched the rain. Just like the day the left .She looked for one of her friends.

Serenity, as a black panther, padded in. She saw Falen and gave a comforting growl, resting her head on the girl's knees

Falen looked down at Serenity. She smiled a weak smile at her. As Serenity placed her head on Falens lap, she let out a sigh. She had been a listless since her thirteenth birthday. She was new to shitfing, it still nausiated her every time she shifted, which was twice thus far. She had brought her friends to the cabin for shelter. They didn't know the signifacence of the cabin to her. She looked at the wall next the bed she sat on and reached between a crack in the wood and pulled out a picture. It was small but it had Falen as toddler and her parents, her mother with blonde hair, btu it was more of a brown, a dark brown when she left, her own with warm brown eyes. then her dad had brown hair and brown eyes. She held it tightly as if it was burning her hand. She closed her eyes and let out a loud sigh.

Serenity gave her an odd look and shifted back into her human form, taking the form of a beautifully wild girl with dark eyes and darker hair. "What's up Bird-girl?" She asked. She had called Falen Birdgirl since she met her, even though Falen hadn't shifted yet at the time.

Falen looked as Serenity shifted. It still caught her of guard. She almost blinked, startled. she looked to Serenity. She saw serenity's human form .Either way it was Serenity. She was comfortad as Serenity called her Bird Girl. She said "This was my house before i went to school, before they left, this is us.". She said giving Serenity the picture.

Serenity took the picture gently, careful not to harm it with her claws. "You are very... beautiful as a child. And happy. What happened?" She asked. Although never noticed before, she had a Spanish accent.

Falen watched Serenity take the picture.She heard Serenity`s words.She said "My parents just left one day, I sat at a window waiting for them. My mom`s words seemed sad before leaving.I never noticed how sad till after she left.".She rubbed her arms.

Serenity nodded. "That is too bad... I grew up all alone. I don't know where my parents are, if they are alive." There it was again, the Spanish accent, "I know my mom's name is Mystere though"

Falen sighed. She looked up at Serenity and said "Thats sad.". She said "I don't know my parents names I forget but this picture was taken a few day before they left. They got in there car drove off and never came back, thats how I came to be at Saint. Martha's.".

Falen gave a faint smile and rubbed her arms still black and blue from the fight. She said "How are the others? I haven't left the cabin much, I feel horrible. I have been seeing things, so I haven't slept much.". Under her eyes were bags from not sleeping. As she rubbed her arms the sleeves of her shirt revieled her bruised arms.

Serenty nooded. "Well, I haven't seen Celeste lately, Noah seems okay, and I just spoke with Val, she's been going mutt lately." She crinkled her nose, "And she stinks. Now get some sleep, I'll keep watching, okay Bird-girl?"

Falen stretched her arms and looked at Serenity as she said abotu ehr friends. She said "I can't sleep.". She said "Remember the day I met you how I saw you and Val fight?". She wondered if Serenity did remember it.

Falen said "Well, I think I can liek see the future or something.". She said admittingly "Those people we fought with, I had a dream about them, there is a new one, young but he grows really fast.".
